Chinese New Year is celebrated in China and anywhere Chinese people live.

They eat  Raw fish  Uncut noodles  Sticky cakes  Plump dumplings  Duck  Goose  Chicken  Dried fruit  Nuts

Chinese New Years celebrate the start of spring. It lasts for is days.

People watch lion dances. People give gifts and money. People clean the house. People watch firecrackers. They eat special meals. On the last day, they have a lantern festival.

 Chinese New Years starts somewhere between late January and the early Febuary.  It begins on the 1st new moon of the year.
