Example 3-1a Round to the nearest whole number. Write the problem 1/ Determine the digit that is a whole number and draw an arrow to it Look at the number to the right of the whole number If the number is less than 5 then leave the whole number as is If the number is 5 or greater, add 1 to the whole number
