What Do Educators Need to Know about Software? Administrative Software assists educators with administrative tasks. Academic Software assists educators and learners in the teaching/learning process.

Administrative Software Productivity Software is business-application software adapted for administrative tasks. Classroom Management Software helps educators with classroom tasks.

Desktop Publishing vs. Word Processing Desktop Publishing makes extensive and precise adjustments to page displays. Word Processing can perform some publishing tasks – nothing as extensive.
