Here are some examples of what people will post on Twitter September 29 th at 1pm EDT. Examples I <3 the humanities because… I love books, especially Harry Potter, J.K. Rowling made fantasy a reality to me... I believed Hogwarts was real until I was 12. I know preserving the past and our present will benefit future generations I was a history major, and I #twitterstorian all the time I saw the Kind Tut exhibit in the 70s and was blown away My mom and dad met in ethics class, so I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for the humanities Understanding history helps me understand the world I live in today The humanities preserves culture and I believe that is important I took part in an NEH summer seminar, and was enlightened! I participated in National History Day I’ve seen every Ken Burns documentary! I love bringing my children to museums when we are on vacation
