For whom is the Lord’s Supper? Matthew 26:26 1. For repentant disciples who are able to: I Corinthians 11:24 I Corinthians 11:28 remember the Lord’s death, able to examine themselves, and united in Christian faith.

Confirmation A church ceremony in which an individual publicly confesses faith in Jesus and unity in faith with a Christian congregation

To Partake 4 Our Confession of faith in confirmation indicates that we are ready for the Lord’s Supper

Answers to Other questions 1. Possibly, but Jesus used wine and unleavened bread; why change? 2. No 3. Jesus needed to be sacrificed only once. This is God’s work for us; not our work for him 4. Jesus said, “Take eat!” He didn’t say “worship”

Answers to other questions 5. Any Christian may do this when asked to (called) by fellow Christians. (Roles of Men and Women in the church apply). 6. Regularly and frequently 7. This is a good time for prayer and quiet meditation as well as singing hymns 8. Private communion is available

Answers to other questions 9. Since the Lord’s Supper is for repentant sinners, I should first try to get things settled. 10. Yes, because God strengthens weak faith in the Lord’s Supper.
