Typical server specification  Compaq DL 380 G2  Dual 1.266ghz Pentium III Processors  1GB RAM  3 X 36.2 GB Hard Disks RAID 5 (72.4 GB space available, 3 free drive bays)  Operating system: Redhat Linux 7.2  Networking: 100 MB Ethernet feed to core network

MAPS Pricing Structure  MAPS can be purchased by individual schools, groups of schools, or by LEAs.  TAG offers bulk purchase discounts - price per school decreases as the total number of schools purchasing from an authority increases.  TAG can help authorities to aggregate school orders and ensure they receive the best possible price.  As an LEA, you can add schools or pupils at any time. MAPS is e-LC eligible!

3 Elements to the MAPS Pricing  Set up cost = 1 off cost to cover:  Space on appropriate level server which will be configured, managed, and upgraded automatically  Set up of LEA and/or School MAPS system  Data port of class/pupil/teacher names from schools' information management system.  Annual Maintenance Charges, to cover:  Maintenance of server and MAPS systems, inc. all database support  Hosting costs  Full and frequent back up of all work within the system  Telephone/ /internet technical and pedagogical support  Future year's dataports with new class/pupil/teacher names  1 day of training included when LEA or group of schools purchases  Annual per pupil licence fee for the MAPS software including the tasks.

MAPS Prices As more schools buy together, the lower the price per school.
