Isaac Newton Makarova Daria, 8 B

Sir Isaac Newton was born in Woolstore, UK on January 4, He died in Kensington, London, UK on March 31,1727. He was an English physicist, mathematician, mechanical engineer and astronomer.

Isaac Newton was born in the village Woolstore on the eve of the civil war. He was born three months after the death of his father, a prosperous farmer also named Isaac Newton. The boy was born prematurely, was painful. When Newton was three, his mother remarried and went to live with her new husband.

From the age of about twelve until he was seventeen, Newton was educated at The King's School, Grantham which taught him Latin but no mathematics. In June 1661, he was admitted to Trinity College, Cambridge on the recommendation of his uncle Rev William Ayscough.

1664 year in the life of Newton was rich and full of the other events. Newton survived the rise of the creative, began independent research activities and made a huge list (45 points) unsolved problems in nature and human’s life.

Interest Newton's mathematics has increased dramatically. He made the first significant mathematical discovery: binomial decomposition for arbitrary rational indicator (including negative), and through him came to his main mathematical method is the decomposition of functions into infinite series. At the end of the year Newton was a bachelor.

After a series of optical experiments, he proved that white с olor is the mixture of colors of the spectrum.

But the most significant discovery was the law of universal gravitation.

He was a clever, kind and sociable person. Newton never married.
