Women’s Health Now and Beyond Pregnancy Purpose Integrate women’s health and preconception services into existing public health services Promote folic acid consumption Promote healthy spacing of pregnancies Put into practice the standard of care that assures women have access to family planning supplies in 3rd trimester of pregnancy

Women’s Health Now and Beyond Pregnancy Objectives Increase the number of women who: Have access to birth control and dual protection supplies prior to delivery Have a medical home for reproductive health Enroll in the Family Planning Waiver or other Medicaid program Consume multivitamins with folic acid in the postpartum period
