Let’s Throw Romeo and Juliet a Wedding By Reagan Cassanova

Two households… Unit Summary Both alike in dignity… After researching Elizabethan times, the Globe Theatre, and Shakespeare’s play Romeo and Juliet, students will work in collaborative groups to throw the wedding of the millennia. Why should the greatest romance of all time be denied their big day? Students will create a power point or movie maker presentation, which includes: Juliet’s wedding gown, Romeo’s attire, the guests’ attire, the guest list, the music, the games, and the menu. Students will also create a power point presentation to teach classmates unfamiliar vocabulary from the text.
