Meet Boaz and Ruth – Ruth 2 Chapter starts with Boaz, but we don’t meet him till later. Notice nobody calls Naomi “Mara” – healing. Meet Boaz and Ruth – Ruth 2 "When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not wholly reap the corners of your field, nor shall you gather the gleanings of your harvest. And you shall not glean your vineyard, nor shall you gather every grape of your vineyard; you shall leave them for the poor and the stranger: I am the Lord your God" (Lev 19:9-10).Lev 19:9-10 We’re all foreigners and strangers…needy, helpless, hungry. Boaz greeting his employees – ‘Christian job’ Boaz knew he was kinsman-redeemer, maybe admired Moabite girl doing this good thing. “She ate until she was full and saved the rest.” Permission was implied, we need more words. Naomi surprised at her gleaning success!

Meet Boaz and Ruth – Ruth 2 Naomi Blessed whoever was so kind to Ruth. “As it turned out” it was their Kinsman- Redeemer! WOW! Help has come ‘out of nowhere’! “As it turned out” God provided for them! Go to God’s Covenantal care and obey… and receive Shelter, blessings, hesed of his kindness/unfailing love! Watch God Lead!
