Why plants?

Why are plants important? Plants make oxygen. One of the materials that plants produce as they make food is oxygen gas. This oxygen gas, which is an important part of the air, is the gas that plants and animals must have in order to stay alive. When people breathe, it is the oxygen that we take out of the air to keep our cells and bodies alive.

Plants in every form:  Indoor plants  Outdoor decorative plants  Edible plants (home gardens)  Farming (orchards, groves, etc…)  Forests

How do humans use plants?  Decorative  Edible  So we can breath!

How do plants help animals?

Why are plants important globally? Deforestation is the permanent destruction of forests in order to make the land available for other uses. An estimated 18 million acres (7.3 million hectares) of forest, which is roughly the size of the country of Panama, are lost each year, according to the United Nations' Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).Mar 4, 2015 Plants make oxygen. Humans and animals need oxygen to survive. We get oxygen from large amounts of trees on our planet. We also use trees for other purposes (paper, furniture, etc…)
