Wonder By R.J Palacio

Summary August was born with a facial deformity that has prevented him from going to a normal public school ever sense he was little. He is about to start 5th grade at Beecher Prep. Being the new kid is bad but this, makes everything even harder. The thing is, Auggie is just an ordinary kid with an extraordinary face. But who knows! Can he convince him peers that he is normal despite his appearance?

Author R.J. Palacio is an amazing writer. She lives in NYC with her husband, two sons and two dogs. For many years she was an art director and a book jacket designer, designing covers for countless well known authors. Though throughout her life she had always had a passion for writing, she kept waiting because she wanted to find a good time to start writing. She realized that it is never the perfect time to start writing a book so she decided to go for it and created her first novel Wonder.

Why do I recommend this book? I recommend this book because it includes lots of detail and makes you able to understand it. The author always makes you have to read more from the beginning to the end! Overall the book is super interesting and shows you what life would be like from a different point of view.
