Math Project – Frayer Model Team 7-1 Benchmark: Will vary depending on the individual math topic. G.L.O. #1 – Self Directed Learner G.L.O. #3 – Complex Thinker G.L.O. #4 – Quality Producer G.L.O. #5 – Effective Communicator G.L.O. #6 – Effective Users of Technology

Student will select one of thirty possible math topics. Topic Selection Student will select one of thirty possible math topics.

Math Topics Student topic is based on the number that was randomly selected.

Construction Paper (G.O.) Students working to create their Frayer Model G.O.

Finish Graphic Organizers Students will now transfer information to PowerPoint.

Transfer to PowerPoint Student is creating PowerPoint presentation about selected math topic.

Save Final PowerPoint to T: Drive Students must save final project to the T: Drive. This will allow the teacher to access the file.

Presentation Method 1 Document Projector Could not get an LCD Projector this day so I had the students present via the class television.

Presentation Method 2: Computer Lab using Vision Software Students will present to the class at the computer lab using the Vision software.

Student Assessment Upon completion of the construction paper, G.O., Powerpoint, and presentation. The student will receive his/her project scoresheet.
