Surfing There are 2 popular types of surfboards Long boards and short boards Difference is the boards shape and length

Big wave surfing In tow in surfing a motorized vehicle like a jet ski tows the surfer into the wave. This helps the surfer to get in to bigger and faster waves

More Info Surfing sports such as paddle boarding and kayaking do not require waves. Sports such as kite surfing and windsurfing need wind for power, but all of these things can be used to ride waves.

History The Hawaiians left evidence of surfing long ago. Petroglyphs of surfers carved into rock and chants that tell stories of surfing

Evidence Some of these chants go back 1500 AD which makes some people believe that surfing may have begun long ago in different cultures.
