This term you are required to purchase compclass, an online course space for your composition class! welcome to compclass

To get compclass, you can: 1.Purchase access online at 2. Purchase access through your local bookstore via a printed access card: –Packaged with a Bedford/St. Martin’s textbook –Available Separately (via a printed activation card)

Accessing compclass If you purchased access through your bookstore (either via an access card on its own or packaged with your textbook): 1.Go to the site address below. 2.Click on “Students Register Your Code.” Alert! Do not throw away your activation card until you’ve registered!

3. Scroll down until you find “CompClass (without e-Book).” 4. Click on “Register Your Code.” Accessing compclass continued… If you purchased access through your bookstore (either via an access card on its own or packaged with your textbook): Alert! Do not throw away your access card until you’ve registered!

Accessing compclass 1. Enter in: Your printed activation code Your first name and last name Your address (which will serve as your Portal username) 2. Choose your password (for future visits). You will be asked to also provide a password hint. 3. Re-enter your address Your account will be created and you will be able to access compclass.

When purchasing compclass online: Go to: 1.Click “Students Purchase Access” from the home page 2.Scroll down until you find “CompClass (without e- Book).” Click on “Purchase Access.” 3. Enter your school data Select the state your institution is located Select your institution Select your course/instructor

4. Choose the subscription length you would like to purchase. 5. Enter in: Your first name and last name Your address (which will serve as your compclass username) 6. Choose your password (for future visits). You will be asked to also provide a password hint. 7. Re-enter your address 8. You will then be taken to the PURCHASE page, where you will need to enter your payment information. 9. You will receive confirmation of your purchase and may now start using compclass.
