Rutgers University Alumni Association & The Department of Alumni Relations University provided Insurance Coverage available for the Rutgers University Alumni Association and its Chartered Alumni Organizations Rutgers, The State University provides on behalf the Rutgers University Alumni Association and its Chartered Alumni Organizations. Commercial General Liability and Umbrella Excess Coverage Non-Owned Automobile Liability Coverage Directors and Officers Liability Insurance Coverage Fidelity and Crime Coverage

Rutgers University Alumni Association & The Department of Alumni Relations Commercial General Liability and Umbrella Excess Coverage The Rutgers University Alumni Association and it’s Chartered Alumni Organizations are a ‘named additional insured’ on our Primary Policy issued by Pinnacle Consortium of Higher Education Insurance Company (a RRG) with a primary combined single limit (CSL) of liability of $2,000,000 Limit for bodily injury and property damage subject to a $500,000 deductible. We have a following form Lead Umbrella underwritten by GenRe with a $10,000,000 policy limit. We also carry additional excess limits as well.

Rutgers University Alumni Association & The Department of Alumni Relations General Liability Coverage Highlights Personal Injury – Liable/Slander/Defemation Professional Liability Media Liability Advertisers Liability, Broadcasters E&O, Publishers Liability Worldwide Coverage

Rutgers University Alumni Association & The Department of Alumni Relations Non-Owned Automobile Liability Coverage As with the commercial General Liability Coverage, the ‘Rutgers University Alumni Association’ and it’s Chartered Alumni Organizations’ are also a named additional insured under this coverage which also has a $2 Million primary combined single limit of liability underwritten by Zurich American Insurance Company, subject to a $25,000 deductible while using Rutgers or Association vehicles. This coverage also provides excess coverage for employees and volunteers using their personal vehicles only at the specific direction of the RUAA or its Chartered Alumni Organization’s Business.

Rutgers University Alumni Association & The Department of Alumni Relations Directors and Officers Liability Insurance Coverage This policy provides errors and omissions coverage for Directors, Volunteer Officers and Members, subject to the terms and conditions of the subject policy. The underwriter is the National Union Fire Insurance Company (an AIG Company) with a $15 Million limit of liability subject to a $350,000 corporate reimbursement deductible. There is a ‘$0' deductible for non-indemnifiable claims against individual directors.

Rutgers University Alumni Association & The Department of Alumni Relations Covered Damages What is a Covered Loss: Damages (including back pay and front pay) Judgments and settlements Multiplied or liquidated damages awards under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act and the Equal Pay Act Pre and post judgment interest Defense expenses Loss also includes punitive damages where permissible by Law Defense costs for claims solely seeking injunctive or non- monetary relief What is Excluded: Conduct Exclusions: fraud, personal profit, illegal remuneration, intentional acts Otherwise Insured Exclusions: prior notice, pending and prior litigation, bodily injury/property damage, pollution, ERISA, failure to maintain insurance, professional E&O not related to educating, teaching or employed attorney’s work product

Rutgers University Alumni Association & The Department of Alumni Relations Fidelity and Crime Coverage This coverage is provided by Travelers Insurance Company and has a $10 Million per occurrence limit of liability subject to a $100,000 deductible. There is Coverage for Volunteers Officers only while acting at or under the direction of the Officers and Agents of the Rutgers University Alumni Association and its member organizations.
