A Shakespearean production takes place…

 One was built on the floor and called “Hell”  They had another one on the ceiling called “Heavens”

 They used that trap door to make people and ghosts appear.  The height is five feet off the stage.  Actors attached by harnesses, wires, or ropes.  Used for flying entrances, and the affect of flying.

 Could be a handkerchief soaked in blood.  Animal organs, intestines, tongues, and bones, could be used.  Bladders filled with animals blood could also be used in some action scenes.

 Placed on roofs above the heavens.  Used for dramatic affects.  Only loaded with gun powder for noise.

 No records, but they think it has at least been tried.

 Musicians were hired to play music.  Fireworks were used to imitate battlefields.  Sound effects would be made from Hell.  Metal sheets and rolling cannons were used to make the sound of thunder.
