Real world problem situations are becoming more important in the study of computers. You and your teammates are stockbrokers who will research, gather and analyze data to create a stock portfolio. You will compete against other teams in the class and in the state of Arizona. In the process you will learn valuable investing techniques, team collaboration, critical thinking skills and decision making strategies using technology resources. You will have the ongoing tasks of preparing and presenting electronic portfolios weekly. UNIT SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL QUESTION How do the choices we make now affect us now and later?

UNIT QUESTIONS  What are ways to generate income or make money?  What are some goods and services that you use consistently?  How would you describe a financial portfolio.  What affect does money have on your life?  What are some of your financial goals?
