Child Abuse Reporting (BUL ) WHO?  Everyone who works for Los Angeles Unified School District WHEN?  The minute you suspect HOW?  Telephone report – immediately (LASD)  Written – 36 hours (Form SS 8572) Administrative assistance  Any Administrator

Antibullying & Hazing Policy (BUL ) WHO?  Everyone is responsible to recognize, prevent, and report (to administration)  Every incident should be investigated What can happen?  Bullying and Hazing can easily escalate to child abuse What is Bullying? What is Hazing?

Non-discrimination Policy (MEM ) Policy;  The Los Angeles Unified School District is committed to providing a safe working and learning environment, free from unlawful discrimination and harassment. Definition:  Harassment is intimidation or abusive behavior toward a student or employee that creates a hostile environment and can result in disciplinary action against the offending student or employee. Harassing conduct may take many forms, including verbal remarks and name-calling, graphic and written statements, or conduct that is physically threatening or humiliating.

Sexual Harassment Policy Employee to Employee; Student to Student; Adult to Student; Student to Adult (BUL ) Any employee of the District who believes that she or he has been a target of sexual harassment shall bring the problem to the attention of the site administrator or designee:  Mr. Fox  Ms. Robles  Ms. Arzola The District considers sexual harassment to be a major offense, which can result in disciplinary action to the offending employee including but not limited to termination

Title IX Policy/Complaint Procedures (BUL ) The Los Angeles Unified School District is committed to providing a working and learning environment that is free from unlawful discrimination and harassment. Code of Ethics with Students (BUL ) Employees and all individuals who work with or have contact with students are expected to use good judgment and are cautioned to avoid the situations indicated in the “Code of Conduct with Students.” All employees, as well as all individuals who work with or have contact with students, are reminded that they must be mindful of the fine line drawn between being sensitive to and supportive of students and a possible or perceived breach of responsible, ethical behavior.
