Things to consider Course –Can be very different at different unis Location –Close to home or far away? –Seaside? Countryside? City? Small town? City or Campus uni? –Everything on - site or spread throughout town?

Things to consider Accommodation –Catered or self - catered? –Uni halls of residence or private flat / house? Facilities –Sports? Music? Theatre? Radio / TV? Art? Social life –Nightlife, student societies, sports teams etc.

Things to consider Cost of living –Rent –Food –Transport Money available –Grants & bursaries at different unis –London Living Allowance

Summary Relax - you ’ ve got time ! Think about your priorities when choosing a university – “ What ’ s the course like? ” should definitely be up there ! Do your research !
