Presentation transcript:

Types of Energy: Solar, Heat, Gravitational, Kinetic, and Chemical. Solar Energy: Radiant energy that travels from the sun to earth. Heat Energy: A form of energy that comes from the random motion of atoms and molecules in any substance. Gravitational Energy: The potential energy an object has because of how far away it is from the ground. Kinetic Energy: The energy of motion. Chemical Energy: The energy stored in the electrical bonds that hold atoms and molecules together. Sources of energy: Renewable resource and non-renewable resource Renewable Resource is a resource that can be reused a non- renewable resource is a resource that can not be reused

This picture is an example of solar energy because there are solar panels that save up energy.

These pictures are examples of heat energy because if u touch one they are very hot which produces heat.

This picture is an example of gravitational energy because when this man is jumping the gravity is pulling his downward.

This picture is an example of kinetic energy because the people in the roller coaster is in motion. This picture is an example of kinetic energy because this Frisbee is in motion.

This picture is an example of chemical energy because fruit is stored in fuel.

This picture is an example of a non-renewable resource because oil is not renewable. These pictures are examples of renewable resources because they are renewable.
