Privileges for DOA and POA Approval of flight conditions, except for: initial flights of:[ref. 21A.263(c)(6)] a new type of aircraft; or an aircraft modified by a change that is or would be classified as a significant major change or significant STC; or an aircraft whose flight and/or piloting characteristics may have been significantly modified; Privilege based on a procedure agreed by the Agency permits to fly to be issued for the purpose of 21A.701(a)(15) If related to safety of design: under DOA only If not related to safety of design: under POA 16 March 2007 Privileges Permit to Fly

Privileges for DOA and POA Principle: aircraft under the control of the approved organisation DOA: when the design organisation itself is controlling under its DOA the configuration of the aircraft and is attesting conformity with the design conditions approved for the flight.
