Team #3 – Volunteer Engagement What are the necessary steps that CBO’s need to take in order to connect in at schools and support the school system in their needs.

School Readiness Team #4 – Quality How can we improve quality of our various early care system providers? Team #5 – Literacy How can we improve early literacy opportunities for all children? Team #6 – Health How can we link and engage health services ensuring all children experience a healthy start in school? Team #7 – Parent Intersections with Systems How can we engage parents most meaningfully in school readiness?

Summer Learning Team #8 – Access to Summer Learning 1. What is the number of opportunities? 2. How much of the need is met? 3. How many are under utilized? Team #9 – Quality of the Opportunities 1. What are the best practices? 2. Is literacy a thread in the programs? 3. What are the quality ratings of existing programs? Team #10 – Parent Education 1. What do parents know about the importance of summer learning? 2. Is there a single point of contact to help navigate system/ease of use?

Team Questions 1. Do we agree with the guiding questions? 2. Do we have the resources in our group to tackle this? 3. If not, who else needs to be at the table?
