How to use the Card Game Data Base By : Francis Kevin Bercero (FranceletteTheMage)

Finding the Card Data Base In order to find the card database, use my website You will find the databases here It will be updated when I think of new card sets

How to use the Databases – Part 1 Each of the databases are divided by section (Beginning, Story Arc 1, Francelette’s Death, etc) The beginners sets are on the left side, while the harder sets are on the right For now, only the beginners sets will be up, but later on, you will find more as the game continues development

How to use the Databases – Part 2 In order to play the game, you will need some cards, but you see it is just words and other stuff… Fortunately for you, all you need are index cards. Cut your index cards in half so that you can have at least 60 cards

Making the Cards To make the cards you will need to use the right information The following slides will help you out

Character Cards Name of Character Health Points of Character (HP) Magic Points of Character (MP) * Used for later sets Attack Points Defense Points Dice Number Critical Bonus Tip: Have at least 4 copies of YOUR character card

Weapon Cards Name of Card “Weapon Card” on the line below it Attack Bonus Defense Bonus (Some weapons will have a defense bonus) Durability Durability Loss after attack Dice number Critical Bonus If a weapon loses all durability, it is considered broken. You can still use it to attack, but now only at half (bonuses aren’t affected)

Armor Cards Card Name “Armor Card” on the next line Defense Bonus Durability Durability Loss after block

Item Cards Name of item Effect of item *After using an item, but it in your discard pile.

Combo Cards Name of card “Combo Card” on the next line Effect(s) Example: Double attack Requirements Examples: Luna must be unconscious, Francelette must be conscious, etc *Combo cards are one timer cards and will be put in the discard zone after use

SPECIAL CARDS The next slides will tell you about the special cards. These cards are to be used in very special ways The card may need a partner, another item, etc to be activated Read the next slides carefully as they detail how to play these cards

Goddess Cards- Explanation Some of the characters of the game are goddesses and they will help you in the card game version too Each Goddess has a certain ability that they grant your party. All of them are designed to help your team Can be used in multiplayer only (not one on one) SPOILER: In the game, one of the main party members becomes a goddess.

Goddess Card Example Card Name: Goddess Karla Card Requirement: Have one member of Mage-Lettes Shared Ability: All party members get 10 bonus attack and defense points Card Expiration: 3 turns NOTE: All goddess cards EXCEPT ONE are shared. ONLY ONE can actually be a character, but it wont be revealed until later

That’s all… And that is it. All you have to do now is download the Excell file and grab some index cards and start making your deck there. TIP: Make your deck a variety of cards. You never know that future sets will feature cards you can use to make your deck stronger. TIP: This is a trading card game so please trade at will, but be aware that you need to trade with players WITH THE SAME CHARACTER as you (Does not include items)
