Staying Put You can stay in your own home by accessing funding through a Home Improvement Agency. You can get advice on repairs, improvements and adaptations to their properties You can get advice on the local availability of grants, welfare benefits and giving information on loans and mortgages They will inspect the works to ensure that it is done to a satisfactory standard

Renting Have to be in Housing need Housing associations have eligibility criteria depending on your needs Contact your local authority or local associations to discuss your housing need You can apply direct to a Housing Association Or can be considered for specially adapted properties

Social HomeBuy This is run by a Housing Association for customers of the Association to help them purchase their property. The Housing Association makes the decisions about who can buy Customers apply for this via their Housing Association. Can buy either outright or buy a share of the property

Open Market HomeBuy Helps people buy homes with some assistance Existing tenants of a Housing Association Administered by a HomeBuy Agent – a housing association in England that has been appointed to operate the scheme.
