Fractions Sums with whole numbers and singular fractions

Singular fraction sums (plus) 2/4 + 1/4= =3/4 3/10 + 7/8= 24/ /80= =104/80 =1 24/80(3/10) By solving the fraction step by step I am thinking about thinking because I need to talk through this to teach grade 5s. I am also striving for accuracy.

Singular fraction sum (subtractions) 4/9 – 1/4 = 16/36–9/36= =7/36 3/5 – 4/9= 27/45 – 20/45= =7/45 I need to do the same as addition of fractions. When I rename the fraction I think about my thinking and strive for accuracy.

Fractions with whole numbers (plus) 1 2/ /3 = = 3 4 4/3 = 4 1 1/ / /8= /8 14 1/8

Singular fraction sums (subtraction) 1 2/ /3 = = /8 - 7 /8= -1 5/8 Even with negative numbers I need to strive for accuracy.

Percentages/Decimal/Fraction I changed my fractions into decimal and fractions, first if I had a fraction I had to create it out of one hundred and thats called renaming. FractionDecimalPercent 2/50.440% 1/ % 3/ % 1/ % 12.5/ % 7/ %

Dividing 2 cakes into 28 What I had to do! I have two cakes, but we have to cut them into two pieces but… they have to be equal. In one cake I would cut it into 14 pieces, °. The strategies and props I used, angles, division, ruler, protractor and division. I was striving for accuracy and persisting.
