Income Equality There should be an equal distribution of income in an economy

Income Equity There should be an equitable distribution of income in society

The Free Market? The free market should determine what is an equitable distribution of income

Redistribution of income A redistribution from the top quintile to the the bottom quintile is desirable

Factors of Production The concentration of the factors of production in the hands of the top quintile makes the free market distribution of income inequitable

Social Mobility The key purpose of any redistribution of income should be to allow economic and social mobility

Labour Everyone has an equal share of this factor of production from birth and therefore there is equality and equity in a free market system
