Stabilization Conservation Service) Responsible for implementing USDA farm programs such as price support, CRP, crop disaster relief, crop compliance, and farm loans. 59 county offices, 500 employees statewide. Maintains farm owner/operator land records to implement farm programs. Obtain aerial photography on a yearly basis.

March 5, 2004 WLIA FSA GIS Achievements during 2003 First year using GIS for FSA programs in WI. Used ArcView GIS for determining CRP eligibility scenarios. Used digital imagery for performing compliance determinations. Started digitizing and cleaning up farm field boundary records in 20 WI counties. Started using GPS for field measurements instead of a wheel.

March 5, 2004 WLIA CLU Certification Steps Before the CLU may be used for USDA programs it must be certified. Process: Clean up spatial and tabular errors Mail maps to each producer to check GIS field boundaries. Switch over to GIS acres.
