Indian Universities hold a huge collection of Ph D Theses, but access from/to Outside is limited Universities Started Collecting e-format of Theses, but creation of ETD System is not done. Indian academia and Librarians are aware about ETDs and they largely support the idea University Grants Commissions Recent Initiative to introduce ETD at national level, as a POLICY will force all Universities to start ETDs.
