Surrey County Council’s future role Working with Young People’s Learning Agency, National Apprenticeships Service and Skills Funding Agency Commissioning education and training from 1 April Funding provision for Learners with Learning Difficulties and Disabilities from 2012/2013. Adult Learning Local Authority “leadership……….to secure a broad range of opportunities for people in local areas, working with local partners to reach out to more people”. Development of local plan and priorities (from 2011). Role as commissioner. Role as provider.
