SnakeEye 100% Inspection of Holt Melt Adhesive Applied to Product Photocell-Like Non-Contact Thermal Inspection 100% Inspection of Holt Melt Adhesive Applied to Product www.exergen.com

Non Contact Sensors for IR Thermal Switching Detect hot object presence and position Photocell simplicity Extraordinary thermal sensitivity Straight view and Side view models available High speed and low speed available www.exergen.com

How the Snake Eye Works Heat signature created by hot source enters the field of view and is detected If the positive (cold to hot) rate of change is sufficient for a sufficient length of time (as determined by the sensitivity adjustment), the SnakeEye causes the output to switch For the trailing edge (hot to cold), a second output switch is activated when negative rate of change and time are sufficient www.exergen.com

Principles of the SnakeEye Field of View The heat source enters the field-of-view of the SnakeEye and is detected by the sensing system. If the rate of change is of sufficient magnitude the SnakeEye causes the output to switch. Heat Source Input Thermal Signature Output Thermal Switching time www.exergen.com
