What was there music like? Did you know that the Modoc used deer bones as sticks for there drums. The Modoc would use all sorts of animal parts for instruments. And did you know that when someone dies or a child is born they will have a special bin mad out of weguo ‘ weguo is straw'. After the accession is over they will close the bin and then play the drum that is decated to the person. Photo Credit: clip art Back to Table of Contents

What are something's they made? If you like crafts then you should weave into this work. Did you know that the Modoc men would have to make all the games like arrows and more. Then the women would have to make all sorts of stuff like the sheet over the basket so the arrow wouldn't go through the basket “a type of game “ Also they made baskets, blankets.caots, house s,and sheets. What religion did they follow? Following the singing and dancing and believing myths religion. The Modoc would all have the same religion because they all celebrate the holiday all tougher. For a birthday they will have a sareamonin. And if someone didn’t follow the religion that person would have to make the fires all winter and stay out side in the winter all day making more house for people and family's. I learned that the Modoc would celebrate when special things come up. Photo Credit: image quest Back to Table of Contents

What kinds of games did they play? Having fun throughout the day is fun with the Modoc's! The Modoc's would make a lot of there games and crafts and the men would get the materials. Then the women would put the rest of the game and craft tougher, if the game includes arrows the men would make the arrows to. And when the women are making the rest of the game or crafts the men usually go hunting for food or more materials. So I learned that most of the women did the work. What type of clothing did they wear? The Modoc have very fancy and quince clothes you should like this paragraph. The Modoc would use deer skin and buffalo skin also for clothes also and that is usually there main materials there most materials come from animal skin. The Modoc would use some materials called wegou “is a type of staw” They would usually make clothes with wegou in the summer time. Photo Credit: clip art Back to Table of Contents

What work did men, women and children do? Did you know that even The Modoc women would have to make the houses to. And the men would have to make the fires. Did you know that men sometimes have to take the clothes the pond or lakes and wash the clothes. And then the women would take the wet clothes and take a piece of wegou and use arrow heads to pin the string to the tree and it will dry in the sun light. The children would sometimes start to hunt for animals and others would go to the corn field and start to gather the crops. I feel that children that were in the Modoc's tribe had to do more work then I have to do. And that the Modoc's had some jobs that I cant even do Photo Credit: clip art Back to Table of Contents

What kind of food did they eat? The Modoc would eat lots of different cute animals like bunny's and lots more and other animals that are interesting. The men would go hunting for every meal that has an animal in it “not like corn that grows in fields”. The women would go to the corn field and get all the corn and vegetables and the women would get the water from the ponds sometimes because the men would get water to. For feasts the men would mostly be hunting all day and the women would be getting corn and roasting the animals that the men would kill. I learned that the Modoc's had a lot or natural resources to make there food. Photo Credit: clip art Back to Table of Contents
