What is the Good News? The good news or “Gospel” is the message of Jesus. The good news is the Resurrection. The good news is the promise and hope of salvation through Jesus.

Let’s think about what God would have us do in certain situations.

Telling the Truth I have not listened in class, practiced my math facts, or tried to find out what I did wrong on my Simple Solutions homework. Now I have blown the quiz and mom and Dad will not be happy with me. When I get home, Mom says, “Did your teacher go over this material with you?” You see the perfect way out of trouble. You need not admit that you did not listen, study, or take any responsibility. You say, “No, and I even tried to ask for help, but she didn’t call on me.” Will it hurt anyone for you to tell that lie? What does God’s word have to say about the truth?
