Begin with the end in mind.  What is your goal? Use the SMART goal technique to clarify your goal: o Specific o Measurable o Attainable o Realistic o Timely 2014/

Stay organized.  Use a planner.  Schedule big items first then smaller commitments next.  Adjust – be flexible not stressed. 2014/

First Generation Students. 2014/  Unique situation but not alone.  Prepare for family response.  Identify people who are supportive of your journey.  Stay focused.

Tips for Success. Successful people realize: from time to time they have to do things they don’t like (missing the party for studying for a test, eating PBJ sandwiches instead of eating out, visiting family instead of Spring Break in Daytona ). Why? Because they remember to “look up” to realize their ultimate goal and stay focused. 2014/
