Monroe Executed Programmatic Agreement The Army’s Responsibilities Include: Identify Significant Viewsheds (initiated)-18 Months =Oct 2010 Cultural Landscape Study (initiated)-18 Months=Oct 2010 Conduct additional archaeological testing to identify any remnant of the former Freedmen’s Cemetery-18 Months=Oct 2010 Revise the Fort Monroe NHL District nomination=Oct 2010 Draft NRHP nominations for those buildings as identified as individually eligible-18 Months=Oct 2010 Provide copies of specific archival materials to the FMFADA for their interpretive and educational programs-18 Months=May 2010 Develop Mothball Plans for Buildings and Structures – Prior to closure Facilitate, through the Army Center for Military History (CMH), loans of all or part of their Casemate Museum collections pertinent to Fort Monroe’s historic significance-March 2011
