To get to the north country (Canada): Air taxis, helicopters, seaplanes, jet routes, trains and cruise ships, ferries, and buses are commonly used. To get to Alaska: Buses, vans, cars, taxi cabs, motor coach, shuttles, and sometimes limos and limousines, boats, and planes are commonly used.

In Anchorage, Alaska, there are Rocky Mountaineer Rail tours. The Gulf Coast is near the area. The view is amazing.

The temperature in Alaska ranges from degrees year long. The precipitation that Alaska usually gets ranges from 1 inch to 14 inches. In both Alaska and Canada, winters are snowy and freezing, especially in the interior. They both have a good precipitation level Research and discuss weather patterns of the area
