Help for Farmers ● The Soil Conservation and Domestic Allotment Act (replaced AAA), 1936 – rewarded farmers for good farming practices. Farm Security Administration, 1937 – gave over $1 billion in loans to tenant farmers & built camps for migrant workers.

Works Progress Administration, –1943, $11 billion to create unskilled construction jobs. – airports – roads – public buildings “It was really great. Social Security Act Old-Age Ins. 65 Years+ – employee paid ½ & employer paid ½ of retirement plan as you work. Unemployment Insurance – employees could draw from this if out of work, due to layoffs.
