Background A new type of pneumonia, SARS was firstly reported as non- typical pneumonia, spreading out from Guangong to Hong Kong and Vietnam, then on March 12, 2003 the WHO issued a global health alarm to the outbreak of this disease. SARS had also spilled over to Singapore, Taiwan and Canada and became the threat of the world public health by March 15.
