Research and Educational Center on Basic Problems of Applications of Low Temperature Plasma Physics Ministry of Education of RF, Government of Karelia Object of research – special form of glow discharge with small anode. It is interesting that in certain conditions (radius of needle, gas pressure and discharge current) plasma localizes on the end of the needle. The scale of microplasma source – tenths of millimeter. Experimental devices of three types were created, initial investigations shown their workability were carried out. Development of special generators of low-temperature plasma for ecological and biomedical applications.
