Aboriginal Art Indigenous Australian art

Where in the world does Aboriginal Art originate? Indigenous Australian art (also known as Aboriginal art) is art made by Indigenous Australians. Indigenous peoples are people who first settled on the land and before Western cultures arrived.

What are the people like?

Aboriginal Art Work Aboriginal Art covers a wide medium including painting on leaves, wood carving, rock carving, sculpture, sand painting and ceremonial clothing, as well as artistic decorations found on weaponry and also tools. Contemporary art by Aboriginal Australians based on traditional culture.

What does their art work look like? What can you see? (subject) What shapes are used? ( any pattern?) What colours are used?

Many works contain a pattern made up of small dots. Patterns are often repeated in the same design.
