Objective The project relates to establishment of ICT based information systems in the department to facilitate reliable and cost effective mechanism for better decision making, monitoring and efficient service delivery. NIC, Rajasthan

Present Infrastructure Created for Medical & Health Department At State Headquarters Central Computer Cell established Two Central Servers in Swasthya Bhawan 55 Client computers in different sections of Swasthya Bhawan 15 Client computers in different sections of Secretariat Local Area Network in Secretariat and Swasthya Bhavan with connectivity of 20 and 125 nodes respectively A high speed leased line link between Secretariat LAN and Directorate LAN for internet / intranet connectivity of the department Other peripherals including printer, scanners, UPS etc. 300 officials trained for use of computers and software NIC, Rajasthan

At field offices (Jt. Directorates – 6, Dy. CMHOs – 104, CMHOs – 32) Two computers, 2 UPS and a laser printer at Joint directorates One computer, 1 UPS and 1 Laser printer at every Deputy CMHO office Existing P III computers at CMHO offices being used Dial up internet connectivity at Joint Directorates, CMHO and Dy. CMHO offices Computer training on software provided to at least three persons in each district NIC providing training to all the district officials on the use of computers NIC, Rajasthan Present Infrastructure Created for Medical & Health Department
