Creative Writing Assignment Let those creative juices flow!

What is the assignment? You are to create an original, fictional piece of writing in the form of a short story using the writing process (brainstorm, outline, draft, edit, publish). The story is to a minimum of TWO pages and a maximum of THREE pages typed and double-spaced in Times New Roman 12 point font with standard margins.

You must also have… at least one form of conflict (person vs. person, person vs. nature etc.) a minimum of two characters the use of five different literary devices (foreshadowing, metaphor, onomatopoeia, alliteration, imagery, simile, dramatic irony etc.) which have been highlighted and labeled on your final copy the use of dialogue between characters which has been punctuated properly
