Improvement Group AG Power Improvement Process (PIP) Development and implementation of highly effective improvement and innovation processes Wülflingerstrasse 271 CH-8408 Winterthur

Improvement Group AG A joint approach Improvement Group AG and Qmarkets A consultancy boutique specializing in substantial corporate development joined the global market leader specializing in enterprise-grade collective wisdom software solutions. A concurrence of favorable circumstances for a common mission: To provide improvement and innovation – processes, culture, customer experience – capturing the collective genius within those organizations.

Improvement Group AG Continuous Improvement in a Complex World O 4000 employees reduce cost about €220m in one year. O 1300 employees develop a new product position and generate added value about €10m in ten months. That is improvement in big steps, tapping the Wisdom of the Crowd. The philosophy to improve in small steps is also important but in specific situations with lower complexity.

Improvement Group AG Improvement und innovation There are a many theoretical discussions about improvement and innovation, but in practice what matters is the sustainable development of the company, be it through innovation or improvement. In fact, a idea may be an innovation in one company and an improvement in another one. The Power Improvement Process (PIP) will lead to innovation or/and improvement tapping the wisdom of the crowd. For this we use the knowledge, know-how and gut feeling of employees, customers, Facebook followers, etc. and structure it in a process producing manageable results.

Improvement Group AG Power Improvement Processes (PIP) Two different starting points PIP Campaign PIP Individually The management team has a specific question or problem and ask a defined community (employees, middle management, Facebook, …) to submit and discuss their ideas. The LiveInnovator Session is a short time campaign but includes also all PIP steps – but in three hours, without workshops and travel planning. Everybody who has an idea with the possibility to generate added value, be it an innovation or improvement, can submit it to an Idea Pool.

Improvement Group AG High speed PIP: LiveInnovator Session O The session is starting with a virtual brainstorming, including people within a meeting room and somewhere of the world. O There is a structured process from such a brainstorming to evaluation of ideas, project proposals and constitution of the project team. O Each process step can be specific designed and also run as the only part, e.g. as a brainstorming with experts to develop ideas for a specific question. O In a session of two to three hours you get ideas and priorities from people around the world. 6
