Schlumberger Private Proposal Fall 2013 & Spring 2014 UK-SEED  Present SEED to the SLB Community in SHTC.  Request volunteers from the SLB Community. Proposed Activities  Work with St Thomas More School in Cheltenham.  Present the following classes to the school:  Home Safety SEEDKIT.  Road Safety SEEDKIT.  Additional SEEDKIT. [choose from the SEED catalog]  Children to compete on an Art/Technology Project.

Schlumberger Private St Thomas More School Facts  150 children ages 4 to 11 years old.  School located in the top 4% of deprived areas in the UK.  90% of children attending the school live in the area.  70% of the children receive free school meals, 9% average on other areas.  10% of the children’s families are illiterate.  20 % of the children’s families come from different countries.  SEED proposal is to support 3 different classrooms:  Yr3-4: 25 children.  Yr4-5: 28 children.  Yr6: 26 children. Proposal Fall 2013 & Spring 2014

Schlumberger Private Request Support from SLB  Minimum of 3 Volunteers required from SHTC.  Volunteers will participate in the teaching of classes.  Total of 3 classes.  Total of 1.5 hours teaching time, plus 1.5hr to drive to Cheltenham and back to work.  3 Classrooms.  Provide teaching materials: SEEDKITS.  Classroom Art/Technology Project Competition.  Provide refreshments & snacks on voting day + winner price.  SLB Jury panel to vote on entries.
