Coach Learning Experience # 3 Beginners Mind When using the “Beginners Mind” concept everything is possible Accept what is happening but keep focused on possibility A small child learning to walk is a great example of a “Beginners Mind”, falling down is not failure it is the beginning of possibility and success 18

Coach Learning Experience # 3 Pink Bat Thinking & Choices The “Beginners Mind” approach will align with Pink Bat Michael McMillan reminds us that “You can live each in a world filled with “problems” or rise each morning & embrace a world filled with unseen solutions…eager for you to find them. Flood Light Vision (Possibility Focused) The view is larger & extended The range of vision is very wide and focused on the long term The focus is future oriented The details are not clearly focused yet Learning to be comfortable with the uncomfortable keeps our “Floodlight Vision’ 22
