Did you know… On Wednesday this week, Space Scientists hope to share with the world a landmark event in Space history – the world’s first ever mission to land a space probe on a comet. After 10 years journeying through the solar system, the European Space Agency (ESA) probe, Rosetta, will deploy its landing craft, Philae, to attempt the first ever soft-landing on a comet on Wednesday 12 November 2014 at 3pm (GMT).
