What is a bookmark?

In general, programs that can be used to run a computer system (operating systems and utilities) or to execute a specific set of tasks (applications including games, word processors, presentation programs, and spreadsheets)

What is software?

A word, phrase, or image that you can click on to jump to a new document or a new section within a document. As text often blue and underlined.

What is a hyperlink (link)?

Unique address of any web page or site located on the WWW

What is a URL (Universal Resource Locator)?

A type of barcode which may contain website addresses, telephone numbers, or other text and may be scanned with the camera on a smart digital phone or tablet.

What is a QR Code?

Software that performs most of the basic tasks of a computer or smart digital phone

What is an operating system?

A computer application arranged in rows and columns in which data may be entered with relationships called formulas. If you change one value, in a formula, other values change as well.

What is a spreadsheet?

The background image of a computer display, on which windows, icons, and other graphics may appear

What is a desktop?

A saved file created by a user with an application

What is a document?

An object that can contain multiple documents

What is a folder?

A bar displayed on a full edge of a desktop display that is used to launch and monitor running applications

What is a taskbar?

A collection of online communication applications dedicated to sharing information and developing social and professional contacts.

What is social media?

The part of technology that you can touch including the computer itself, the cables, the keyboard, mouse, audio speakers, and printers

What is hardware?

A set of options presented to the user of a computer application to help the user to execute a program function (such as save, print, copy, delete, format).

What is a menu?

In a spreadsheet the area where a row and column intersect which may contain data like text, numbers, or formulas.

What is a cell?

A series of instructions given to a computer directing it to perform specific operations.

What is a program?

A sequence of folder locations used to find a file
