Where could you find the mountains With such majestic scene?  You will never find so bright a moon To shine down from above You will also see the robin The wren, and the turtle dove.  And don't forget the rivers Where visitors long to stay. And many have voice in parting, 'I'm sure glad I passed this way.'  You will see the cattle grazing Beside a cotton field; And there's the Grand Ole Opry And a feeling it's all God's will.

 PHIL BREDESEN TENNESSEE STATE GOVERNOR  Bredesen Honors Veterans Working in State Government 11/09/2010 Governor Bredesen today hosted officials from the Department of Human Resources, Military and Veterans Affairs and members of the Tennessee Army and Air National Guard during a Veteran’s Day ceremony in Nashville that honored the men and women from Tennessee who are veterans of our nation’s armed services

 “Today we pay a special tribute to all the veterans here in Tennessee who have made this the Volunteer State by time and again answering our nation’s call to duty both at home and abroad,” Bredesen said. “As we honor these brave men and women, it is also appropriate to honor their families and thank them for the sacrifices they make when the time comes for their loved ones to serve.” Bredesen also paid special tribute to state employees who are veterans by recognizing four individuals from the Tennessee Departments of Labor and Workforce Development, Veterans Affairs, and Transportation.  PHIL BREDESEN
