EMSTARS Updates – Data Mart Terminology Data Repository / Warehouse - the queryable data sources and/or integrated data stores which provide the foundation of a enterprise DW/BI solution. Data mart - a database which is a complete subset of the overall data warehouse for a single business process or a group of related business processes.

EMSTARS Updates – Data Mart Scope A subset of EMS incident level data placed into an integrated architecture for a decision support solution to address the improved analysis and reporting needs of the EMSTARS program.
