 On average, Canadians need ~7 hectares per person, to keep up with our demand for resources and to handle the garbage we produce.

 Poorer countries like India and Ethiopia have a smaller E.F. compared to wealthier countries, which means that they are putting less stress on the planet but they also live without a lot of the necessities for life. This means we are not living equally well around the world. Fair Share: is how much land a person is entitled to if the land was shared equally
